Dubli Australia Reps Primed for New Initiatives

Dubli Australia reps have had an up and down time recently.  After all the hype of a couple of years ago, many reps had left the company, thoroughly disilusioned by the lack of sustaned forward movement..

But things seem to be looking up.  The company has just relaunched in the US with an invitation only event at Boca Raton where they announced 25 new initiatives.  Initiatives such as:

• Express VIP auctions
• Enhanced Shopping Mall
• Entertainment Platform
• Infomercial style TV ads

The reverse auction system which the company made its early running with, is being retained.

One of the highlights of the relaunch extravaganza was the guest appearance by mlm legen Tom ‘Big Al’ Schreiter.

The CEO of Dubli, Michael Hanson, is a visionary with the drive and passion to bring in the changes to kick start Dubli.  Whether all these initatives will do the trick is anyone’s guess.  But you’ve gotta give Dubli top marks for staying power.

Free Leads for MLM – Are They Worth the Price?

The easiest and simplest way to get free leads for your Australian Multi-Level Marketing business is simply by leaving comments on blogs and forums which are highly relevant to the opportunity you are promoting.

As a newbie marketer make comments on all of the good blogs you can find. Understand that not all not all comments you write are going to be published by the moderator, neither will every reply mean a click though to your website.  Here is a simple way to find the sort of blogs that will be just right for you:

Simply paste this term into your Search box:

site: inurl:blog “post a comment” -”comments closed” -”you must be logged in” “your product”

What this line means is the term blog is incorporated in the URL and comments are open. The “-”indicates Google should ignore any blogs in which the comments are closed and where you must be logged on, and “your product” is definitely the thing you are marketing.

Go Where the Crowds Go

The dates of posts are crucial, so check to see that folks are posting and responding to comments actively and every day.

If you use the convenient SEOQuake toolbar on your computer, this can show the Page Ranking of the blog you are looking at. PR ( page rank ) ranges from nil to 9, if you discover important blogs which have a PR above 2 or 3 the link you receive in return for your comment is more valuable than one from a newbie blog.

This’ll help your internet site move up the rankings. The more participants on a blog, the better the chance you will have to write about other’s comments and the site’s posts. When you leave your comment make sure it’s helpful. Your blog master is giving you a valuable link so leave something advantageous in exchange, which is a good comment.

A worthless comment is of no use to the blog master and it will be wiped out, which means you have wasted your time and his. On occasion you might leave what you believe is a great comment, only to find that for some unknown reason it’s not accepted.

Not to worry – just keep trying. For this reason you will need to spend plenty of time each week blog commenting when you initially start your business. The benefit is you will get backlinks for your website even when you do not get people choosing to opt into your list.

Do Follow Blogs

Many sites enable you to publish a comment, however they do not permit you to leave backlinks for your website. No follow blogs aren’t going to offer benefits to you, so move onto the next blog.

You’ll be able to understand if the names in the comment boxes are highlighted in blue, i.e. Links and 1 or 2 blogs allow you to put 2 links in the comment box. If you want to get leads then you definitely should funnel individuals that click your link to a squeeze page where you can get their email and other info you may need.

Make a spreadsheet of all the blogs you have visited and you’ll soon develop a relationship with people that visit that blog and potentially the website owner if he is a fan of your comments.

Your target should be to write in a way that makes others click on your link. Well to prove the sceptics wrong, Lyoness Australia is now assembling an impressive list of merchants.

At the end of last month they announced that large retailers like Woolworths have jumped on board.  Chatter amongst Lyoness reps seems to suggest that other retails such as Harvey Norman will also join the throng.

Time will tell if Lyoness lives up to the hype and early promise.

Are Matt and Amanda Clarkson the Real Deal?

“Matt and Amanda Clarkson run a company called Bidding Buzz and are totally dedicated to helping everyday people find a way to make money from home with eBay.”

Well that is at least what their supporters say.

But behind the smooth cliches lurks a very slick marketing machine.  These guys really know how to strut their stuff.  So the question is – does the reality match the hype?  is this the real deal?

I’ve heard some people say that they’re too slick for comfort.  But the real issue is ‘do their strategies work?’

Let’s take a quick look.

As the story goes, the Clarkson’s made their money from developing a kick butt marketing system to sell heaps of products on E Bay.  Once their system was perfected they spotted another way to make a buck – sell their know-how to other budding entrepreneurs.  So they developed their home study course – eBay Magic.

Cynics of course will say that if their system was so good, why train up their competitors?  Um.  Well I guess the answer is that the market is big enough, and besides most people never do much with the educational courses they buy.  Typical implementation rates with this style of program could be as low as 5%.

Bottom line: the reasons why the Clarkson teach others their apparently winning strategies is – you guessed it – there’s money in it!

That said, Matt and Amanda Clarkson are not everyday folk.  They are hard nosed entrepreneurs with great marketing flair.  They is not you, and don’t be seduced by their message that you are!

After months of planning and behind the scenes activity, network marketing company Numis Network has now officially gone into pre-launch in Australia.

Numis Network has  an interesting product line focused on numismatic coins, which is unusual for the network marketing industry.  Numis is US based and after launching in Canada and the UK decided that Australia was the next cab off the rank

Number 1 income earner in Numis, Ray Higdon, has been working overtime in recent months to ensure that his business takes advantage of the opportunity that Australia offers (better than the UK in my opinion).  Already several Aussie big hitters have jumped onboard and no doubt looking to replicate Ray’s success down under.

Judging by the number of responses to my last post on Lyoness Australia, this business is a hot little number at the moment.  .

Will it last? Who knows, but certainly the concept has captured the imnagination of a lot of people. Although I have said before that Lyoness sort of reminds me of (online auction portal) Dubli which swept through this part of the world a couple of years ago (where are they now? Who knows who cares, right?)

A couple of weeks ago I had an interesting conversation with  a guy who was the CEO of Lynoness USA.  The operative word there is ‘was’ – he no longer holds that position.  He said he had a falling out with the founder.  Go figure.

One point he did make (and is worth repeating), is that although somewhat succesful in Europe, so far it has failed to really take off in the US.  Maybe it will be a slow build over there.  He also said that hyper growth companies like Visalus are blitzing companies like Lyoness.

Time will tell if Lyoness establises itself as a long term proposition in Australia.  Hopefully it will be successful as the concept seems sound.

Down Under Push For Numis Network

Well it’s official.  Numismatic coin biz, Numis Network, is now in pre-launch in Australia.

After spreading their wings from their US base, and launching in the UK last year, the company now moves into their second international market.

Not sure why they chose the UK first up, as Australia is often the first destination of choice for expanding network marketing companies.  This is because the environment here is more conducive to doing business (from an mlm point of view), than the UK.

I wrote about Numis Network last year by way of a Numis Network Review article.

In that article I made the following points:

• The company started business in 2009
• They are players in the US $10 billion numismatics coin industry (globally $100 million)
• The distribution model the company employs is network marketing
• Their compensation plan uses a binary system
• Although there are risks associated with the type of product they promote (compliance risks to name just one), Numis Network is NOT  a scam

Number 1 earner in Numis is Ray Higdon, who has done a great job of providing solid leadership and training for his team.

Isagenix Australia can give themselves a big pat on the back for getting their blockbuster new product approved by the health bureaucracy in Australia, less than 6 months after the product was released in the US.  No easy task.

The product in question is called Product B, and is designed to give support to telemeres which form part of the cell.  As the theory goes, if you can lengthen your telemeres you can lengthen your life.

Up until now distributors have been importing the product privately for their own use.  But now with the product being approved for resale in Australia, reps will be able to re-sell the product to customers.

Of course, according to the dictates of the Australian regulatory regime, health claims cannot be made about the product.  This is despite the fact that thousands of people around the world have reported positive health benefits.

Such is the state of affairs in Australia, that product users have had their rights to free speech curtailed – they cant even tell their own personal testimony.  Australia has constructed a regulatory regime that empire building bureaucrats in other countries can only envy.

Product B will be officially launched in Australia by February.

Hyper growth mlm weight loss biz, Visalus, may open in Australia and other countries in the future.

If you didn’t already know it, Visalus is breaking records in the US, and is now firmly in ‘international expansion mode’.

So successful has the company been, that they are now well and truly on track for a billion dollars in sales in a  single year.  The last company that achieved that result was Nu Skin.  And that was a long time ago.  Such is the fragmented state of the industry that very few companies have come close to cracking a billion in annual sales in the last 20 years.  Until now.

If Visalus does open n Australia it  would be a smart move for the company.  Many of the most successful US based network marketing companies open in Australia.   The most obvious examples are Amway, Herbalife and Nu Skin.  They all choose Australia for their overseas expansion.

The reasons are as follows:

1. Positive MLM Environment. Hundreds of thousands of Australians are ‘doing mlm’.
2. First World Incomes. Average wages are now higher than for American workers.  It’s a workers paradise!
3. US Influences. Australia has been heavily influenced by some aspects of American culture.  Examples: McDonalds are everywhere, and people flock to US movies regularly.
4. Small Business Culture. Unlike Europe, for instance, Australia is loaded with people who want to work from home, building their own business.
5. Wall to Wall Fat People. Obesity rates are now close to that of the US – nothing to be proud of.  Should auger well for Visalus and their focus on weight control.

Will Visalus open in Australia?  Time will tell.

Herbalife Australia Reps Expect Minimal Impact

Sooner or later it had to happen.

Aggressive mlm marketer Herbalife was going to be the patsy at the hands of over zealous regulators, consumer groups and the court system.

Last week a Belgium Court ruled that Herbalife is a dodgy pyramid scheme.

Normally these accusations are directed at young companies that are maybe too aggressive in their marketing efforts.

Herbalife has said they will appeal the ruling which happened as a result of a case brought by local consumer organization Test-Aankoop in 2004.

The ruling claims that the company is in violation of Belgian law in relation to ‘unfair commercial practices.’

Herbalife can modify their sales practices, but if they don’t make sufficient changes, a maximum fine of 250,000 euros can be imposed.

It is important that Herbalife take what ever action is necessary to resolve the problem, otherwise the fallout could affect sales in other markets including Australia, which has been opened for business for 29 years.
